Your laws ignore our deepest needs
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage.
You've outlawed simple prayer.

Now gunshots fill our classrooms.
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere.
And ask the question "WHY?"

You regulate restrictive laws.
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand
That God is what we need!

~Jayne Love was our guest this morning. She is the drama director for the upcoming Passion Play, presented at Eastmont Baptist Church in Montgomery. This year's performance is "Bow the Knee" and will be held on Sunday, March 2 and Monday, March 3. The drama will be during the morning worship service at 10:30am and at 5:00pm in the evening worship service. Monday nights drama will start at 7:00pm. Call 277-6300 for more information.
